Portrait

A portrait i did for my wife, titled Anniversary - and the reference photo.  It looked quite cool printed and framed as a Christmas present :)

I want to get more into portraiture both digitally and traditionally (pencil/paint) so hopefully I will have some more to post in the near future...

Pathfinder - Inner Sea NPC Codex

presenting an awesome set of character NPCs from the new Pathfinder module available HERE!

I really enjoyed these characters, as I was able to design the costuming and really be creative.  I think they turned out pretty well, and I especially love the crazy monkey/ape guy shaman!

The Road To War - Demon Summoning!

Oops! - shouldn't have called up this guy from the abyss - or where-ever it is from  ...because he looks disturbing.

A big cover illo for the Road To War pack from Legendary Games.  What more could I want ..stone circles, demons, adventurers!

My captioning for this image is as follows ...

The Road To War - Frost Drake Attack!

I enjoyed creating this illo - simple premise and I liked the feel of the warm/arid environment and the icy blue drake. I wanted to frame the drake really clearly against the hazy sky, and ended up putting a fireball casting mage in the FG to get your attention (also I thought it would be nice to contrast the icy drake magic)

...my personal fave is the poor sucker who gets iced downhill, meanwhile the elf ranger is confidently sliding downhill backwards and turning and loosing arrows as she goes ..which she can do because she is an elf ..and better than you.  And she knows it.

I love doodling nature scenes ..i start somewhere on the page and just sketch in moss and branches and shrooms and stuff until i get to an idea, then sometimes i riff on the idea a few times - maybe one day some little scribble will turn into the basis for a larger piece

haha had to fix the little dragon in pshop, cos i stuffed the pen drawing ;)

these are a bit lame ..i like the plant though ...
